Glossary entry (derived from question below)
English term or phrase:
binary ethyleneimine
German translation:
binäres Ethylenimin
English term
binary ethyleneimine
I am interested to learn what the "binary" part stands for: is it an ethyleneimine dimer, a binary compound from ethyleneimine and some other molecule, a vague characterization from the patent holder so that other people may not reproduce it...?

"Binary-ethylenimine (BEI) is formed by the cyclisation of 2-haloalkylamines under alkaline conditions, which reaction can be carried out either in the virus suspension, or separately, prior to addition."
http://www.google.de/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=5&ved=0CDcQIDAE&...
