abrasive

Very few uses out there for this Swedish term, but I did follow "sinterkropp" through "borkarbid" to "boron carbide" and on to "abrasive". In other words, a "sinterkropp" is a particulate material such as boron carbide used as an abrasive.

From the first reference link:

"Borkarbid är, näst efter diamant och kubisk bornitrid, det hårdaste syntetiskt framställda slipmedlet. Borkarbiden som sinterkropp har en extrem hårdhet och utomordentlig nötningsbeständighet och utnyttjas därför inom förslitningstekniken."

The second link is the Wikipedia entry of boron carbide, which lists abrasives as one of its uses.
