ripage applies to ALL tyred vehicles, and scuffing / scrubbing are virtual synonyms / Termium often needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, and even when accurate, its entries are far from being exhaustive...

: Here, it's not due to faulty geometry as such, but to the action of road-holding, ripage, etc.
