@Charles I know what you mean about meaningful examples of "cinta de renta". Indeed the only two direct hits for the term is this question... so the only thing I could think of suggesting was this synonym of "cinta".

@James It does make sense. "Banda de renta" means "income band", no question, so maybe "cinta de renta" is a variant of that. I must admit I'd feel happier if we had a bit of confirmation; I just can't find meaningful examples of "cinta de renta".

I have found one reference to a "listado cinta" which appears to suggest that it is a form of data storage or presentation:
"Remitir la información de los pagos de nómina a través de un listado cinta o diskette, cada vez que se realicen los pagos"

But I don't know exactly what it is or how to translate it. It looks as though "cinta" means "tape" here, but does the expression "income tape" exist?

disagree patinba : Sorry, but this looks like an unsopported guess, and there is no justification for use of "cinta" as "band" meaning a range, not a tape or strip.
