short undergraduate practice in the rural area
I am not Colombian, but in Guatemala most undergraduates (Medicine and dentists) have to practice in selected rural health centres/hospitals. Usually about 2 months. It is called ruralito (small rural) to distinguish it from the social service (or sometimes "rural service", which vary from 6 months to a year).
