- fine tuning using CGA applies to the stamping process
- fine honing refers to the minute stamping-die modifications, if any are required, to fine tune the stamping process and obtain the desired stamping result.

See explanation below about the word 玉成 玉成（読み方：ぎょくせい）という言葉は、普段はほとんど使いませんが、金型業界ではよく使われているようです。本来の意味は、「立派な人物に育てること」あるいは「仕事や研究などを十分高く深い内容にすること」ですが、金型業界での意味は、金型の最終的な摺り合わせ、つまり、設計通りに加工した金型を試し打ちしながら、ワークが設計通りの製品になるよう、細部の出っ張りや引っ込みを微調整するための作業のことを指す。
