The noun form for your subheading is 'drawdown' (see definition above). The verb form is 'to draw down',
i.e. the credit is to be drawn down (past participle form)

: yes, this is a phrase, but that does not square up with (Aus)Nutzung; where is "protection" in that? And why is this an overdraft as opposed to a loan?

It is a (albeit temporary) "loan" from the bank if one has overexceeded their balance. It is a type of credit, in that if you have another account, funds can be transferred to the overexceeded account from a different account to cover the balance.
