Just out of sheer curiosity isn't there any english colloquial expression for a birthday that would fit nicely in here?

@ Asker 'bougies' is a colloquial term used to indicate 'years' — obviously referring to the candles on a birthday cake, hence the extrapolation to 'nth birthday or anniversary'.
