Cześć Sądu ds. Składania Wniosków (and. Centralized Motion Part)
Part of the court for filing motions(in person, I believe). The system is centralized, so all motions go through the Part - just a room, really.

There are so many motions that Queens recently switched to a “Centralized Motion Part” (the CMP….we love acronyms in the per-diem world). All the motions are now called at 2:15 PM Monday – Thursday (and 11 AM on Friday) in one big room. There are 150 – 200 motions every day, with the calendar going till past 4 PM.

I see a lot of young attorneys in landlord/tenant court in Nassau County and Queens (NY). A good number of young attorneys in the Queens Centralized Motion Part, which is fairly new, and is basically just a big room where motions get submitted in person for whatever reason.
