Hola, estoy traduciendo un resumen bancario y me aparece la sigla CRACH, no sé a qué se refiere. El banco es de Puerto Rico, Cooperativa Zeno Gandía. Alguien tiene idea?

Clearing Houses If it is a clearing house then it will have a date and time automatically 'stamped' to it. Agree with Phil, however, not your job to work it out. Ignore and move on! As I mentioned there are several clearing houses in Europe - go to bankofengland.co.uk to see them.

When you say the date, do you mean the date of the transaction, or the statement? If it's the former, is it a debit? Could it be the name of a payee? If so, I don't think it's your job to work out what it stands for.

The thing is that it is not a sentence, it's a bank statement and this acronym appears next to the date and the balance. It's an acronym.

There is an Eastern Caribbean Currency Union - perhaps you should ask them directly - there is also NACHA (National Automated Clearing House Association) in the US - they might be able to help. Otherwise leave as is.

Oops "CR" not "AC", so perhaps something along the lines of "Credit - Automated Clearing House (CR-ACH), but I am guessing.
