This is from a conversation between two Kuwaitis. My first guess is that it's the English word "maybe", but I'm not sure that fits the context.

: مابي means I don't want. It is shortened from ما أبغي. Kindly, consider correcting the following: that he doesn't want 100 Kuwaiti Dinars. Please, make sure that the adj "Kuwaiti" comes before the noun "Dinar"
