Hello, dear colleagues.
What does DD mean in a British birth certificate? By the way, it is followed by a number in the beginning.
Thank you in advance

Looking at a few UK birth certificates I see the following used as nubering:
FE + 6 numerals
BA + 6 numerals
GD + 6 numerals
PB + 6numerals

En date du ? Daté du ?
DD = Dated ?
Vous dites que c’est suivi d’un nombre ; pourriez-vous donner celui-ci ? On y verrait-être plus clair.

7 hrs
day = jour
Possibly the DAY the person was born. Je ne vois que cette possibilité, s'agissant d'un acte de naissance.
Discussion
The 'DD/MM/YYYY' convention for dates is rather modern and computer-oriented, and I think unlikely to appear as such on a birth certificate; I think it is even less likely to appear as just 'DD' on its own.
The only other meaning that occurs to me for 'dd' would be 'deceased', but that seems highly unlikely in the context!
A Guide to Birth Certificates
Serial numbers
Each certificate is printed with a unique serial number comprising a one to three letter prefix code and up to six digits.
