The author is describing the actions taken by a ceramics manufacturer - through its dedicated marketing division - that makes bespoke tile collections for distributors. I have tentatively written "the various steps required to bring the new collection to market", but I wonder if anyone has anything more intelligent to offer for this use of "impianto"?
