English term

eductor

English to Italian Tech/Engineering Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng liquefaction of natural gas
The combined cooling stream flowing through line 259 further serves as "make-up" to keep eductor 282 working correctly if the flow rate through back pressure control valve 280A is too low. Back pressure control valve 280B is preferably set a couple to a few psi
higher than pressure control valve 280A to keep combined cooling stream 257 moving in the correct direction.
The combined cooling stream 257 then passes through an eductor 282. A motive stream 284, drawn from the process stream between the high efficiency heat exchanger 166 and coil-type heat exchanger 224, also flows through the eductor and serves to draw the com-
bined cooling stream 257 into one or more of the tank inlets

What is the difference between the Eductor and Ejectors?
The ejectors are used to maintain a system vacuum in the upstream (Example maintaining the vacuum column pressure) whereas eductor's main objective is to take out the volume of any fluid out of the system by maintaining a system pressure in the upstream.
example:
1. The eductors are used to remove the air 4 times the volume of the vessel per hour for the vessel entry jobs. We use compressed air as a motive fluid.
2. The water jet eductors are used to suck the muddy water, or a oily water from the storm water channel or a pit (an alternative for a de-watering pump). Here the motive fluid is high pressure water.

Un'altra conferma che non sono sinonimi:

As nouns the difference between ejector and eductor
is that ejector is one who, or that which, ejects or dispossesses while eductor is one who, or that which, brings forth, elicits, or extracts.
