Italian term

pressurizzare il filtro Büchner a 2 bar e chiudere il carico dell\'azoto

Italian to English Science Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng
This is a translation relating to processes in a chemistry laboratory.
My question is "simply" the word "a" - I can't determine in this case if I should say "pressurise the Buchner filter AT 2 bar or TO 2 bar.
Thanks for your input!

Yes, "shut off the nitrogen" is how it was translated in the text given to me as an example.

You're welcome! Does it mean "shut off the nitrogen"?

Thanks! I appreciate the help.

I don't know how to translate "chiudere il carico", but the answer to your question is "to". Normal atmospheric pressure is about one bar, so you're taking it TO twice its current level.
