English term

Bakir

Non-PRO English to Arabic Art/Literary Linguistics
I need this Arabic male first name written with FULL/ALL diacritics and its closest transliteration/pronunciation.

I have بكير so far, this doesn't have diacritics.

Explanations in English, please, except for Arabic script examples!

Thanks.

And yes, explanations are part of the KudoZ questions. But just writing the same word under Explanation: is NOT an explanation, so you might as well just leave it blank!

I don't understand, why nobody cares to answer these 2 simple questions. If the SUKUN is in the wrong place, then both answers are wrong, so I can't grade this question, until I get a correct answer. But if nobody steps up, then this question will be open forever.

If these 2 translators are not responding, can someone else step up and set these issues straight (and provide his/her own version)?

LONG or SHORT I It seems to me, that in transliteration it should be a LONG I, usually marked as ī. Do you agree?

The correct place for the SUKUN I see, that both of you placed the SUKUN not on the RA (where I think, it should be), but on the letter before RA. So are you sure about this?
