Arabic term

فروري

Arabic to English Art/Literary Poetry & Literature
This is again from the same poem as mentioned in the previous questions. The full verse is as follows:

قال خطبت لك عروسه * مهرها عشرين فروري

Here the poet's father is telling him that he has found a bride for him for a dower of twenty [something]?

Your help is much appreciated!

Thank you!

Rhyming word

The poet trails the verse with this word for rhyming purposes only, I claim.

I guess the dowry of the proposed bride is meagre and is not worth mentioning.

Bride for you! said daddy...with a dowry of twenty

I hope this helps.

"Daddy" seems a little bit improper in this context.

More literary English adaptation below.

I have a bride for you! He said

With a dowry of twenty to wed!

"To wed" here is to celebrate the poet's wedding.
