French term

osseux connu

French to English Medical Medical (general) Cancer Bone Scans
'Images scintigraphiques d'une progression d'un processus d'envahissement osseux connu (apparition de plusieurs nouvelles lesions secondaires (voire ci-dessus).'

this specific phrase is used in several of the patient's reports - perhaps it refers to known bone lesions. But is there another intention of the treating physician?

@ Asker: Context? Please could you give us the other examples?
The thing is, it looks on the face of it as if both adjectives 'osseux' and 'connu' are actually qualifying some preceding noun, which means your parsing wouldn't really make sense. In the extract given, the 2 m. nouns it might refer to are 'processus' or 'envahissement', so the other examples ought to make ti clear which it is.

Metastatic Bone Disease

Cancer that begins in an organ, such as the lungs, breast, or prostate, and then spreads to bone is called metastatic bone disease (MBD). More than 1.2 million new cancer cases are diagnosed each year. Approximately 50% of these tumors can spread (metastasize) to the skeleton.

agree Michael Barnett : Yes, or "known metatstatic bone disease". It apparently references a previous imaging test.
