@Catherine They don't mean the same thing, as I understand them; on the contrary, they have the opposite meaning. "A mi favor" means in my favour/benefit, and must refer to an easement that gives me the right to do or control something on another person's property. "A cargo de mis bienes" means "on my property" in the sense of "encumbering my property", referring to an easement that gives others the right to do or control something on my property. In other words, they repeat the meaning of "pasivas y activas" (servient or dominant), though the other way round: a "servidumbre activa", in which my property is the dominant estate, is "a mi favor", and a "servidumbre pasiva" where my property is the servient estate, is "a cargo de mis bienes".

Does someone feel like suggesting a revised answer, in that case? Would it be 'to establish dominant and servient easements on behalf of myself or my assets'?

Is there a reason for using the different terms 'a favor de' and 'a cargo de' , which you all seem to agree mean the same thing ('on behalf of')?
