Alexander Gulevskiy Sep 26, 2019:
You can try "Skip Tracing", it is much shorter and it is an industry term. You can see the explanation below.
Tatyana Dolgova (asker) Sep 26, 2019:
I agree with The Misha, "enforcement search" is a word-for-word translation that conveys no meaning in our case. I think I would stick to something like "search for a wanted person by enforcement officers.
Boris Shapiro Sep 25, 2019:
A picture - or, at least, a piece of text - is worth a thousand (clumsy and mistranslated) words. Do you have one? A real-world example of this 'detection' and - OMG - 'tracing' business?
Turdimurod Rakhmanov Sep 25, 2019:
Search is wrong here, It is not called a search, it is detection or tracing made by enforcement agents, bailiffs.
Somebody found here a mistake trying always to play hard to get, but not successful as usual, there is limited space and sometimes u found it difficult to write properly, sometimes no attention. Meaning is important. We don't need the kindergarten teachers here.
The Misha Sep 25, 2019:
What an English speaker would say is that so and so is/has been declared wanted by enforcement officials. An American could also say "put an APB (all-points bulletin) on someone" but this is very, very country specific. Perhaps that "enforcement search" is the lesser evil here if you insist on a fixed term, even though it will not be clearly understood by the actual English speakers without additional clarifications.

Bailiff's detection (investigation) / debtor tracing by Bailiff

I would not use "Enforcement" here,
Debtor tracing or location detection will be conducted by a Bailiff,-судебный исполнитель
detection (investigation) / debtor tracing
Peer comment(s):

disagree Boris Shapiro : 'Detection' (especially in a possessive construction) has no place here. Even an attributive construction sounds extremely awkward. // This isn't about grammar. It's about producing a natural-sounding English phrase. Or, in your case, its opposite.

Thank you. But we are not learning grammar(ly) here . Pls, see explanation.
disagree The Misha : No, we are not learning grammar. We are learning usage - i.e., how things are actually said in English./Sure do. Moya tvoya ponimay, kamarad. Tvoya karashyo pirivodcheg.

Skip tracing

The most precise term I found for what you've described. Might be what you are looking for. Here is the wikipedia link: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skiptrace

I found in many sources that this is an "industry term". Here is an example of an actual US company that provides "skip tracing" services: https://www.stacollect.com/skip-tracing
Peer comment(s):

agree Turdimurod Rakhmanov : Agree, in your example, skip tracing by agencies.
