Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Come in una sequenza di un film scorrono le vedute di panorami ineguagliabili,
As in a film, unparalleled views/panoramas roll by

roll works with both the idea of the jeep and the cinema film image

agree Brent Sørensen : This is what I was going for. I was thinking “views flash by” or “views pass by”, but think “roll” sounds better

In the translation I would skip "le vedute", since in English a "panorama" is already a view of a broad area.

One might translate it something like this:

"You set out by jeep at sunrise and ascend the north side of Mt. Etna up to an elevation of 1,900 meters, being treated to breathtaking panoramas along the way. Stunning landscapes, ancient forests, and lava fields appear one after another like scenes in a film."

(Here I have switched the order of "panoramas" and "landscapes", since "landscapes" in English would be a subset of "panoramas" rather than the other way around.)

neutral Caroline Durant : I like the strategy of skipping "le vedute", but I would still go with "roll by" as the movement in a jeep is smooth, rather than cutting from one scene to another.
