French term
segment dorsal du lobe supérieur droit
COVID-19

Medical (general)
Patient report
Patient report of complications after 2nd dose of Pfizer vaccine for Covid.
The full phrase is "Syndrome interstitiel isolé de 20 mm de diamètre du segment dorsal du lobe supérieur droit"
There isn't a "dorsal" segment in the right upper lobe, so does anyone know which segment it is referring to? And if it is 20 cm in diameter 'from' or 'in the' segment?
I know dorsal relates to being behind but I don't know if this is the anterior, posterior or apical part of the right upper lobe.
Any answers much appreciated.

segment dorsal = posterior segment
segment ventral = anterior segment
segment apical = apical segment

Ventral refers to the front of the body, and dorsal refers to the back, therefore, "segment dorsal" is called the "posterior segment" in English when referring to the RUL of the lungs and the "segment ventral" is called the "anterior segment".

To answer your other question, I would say that the "syndrome interstitiel isolé" measures 20 mm and is located IN the segment.
