German term
verodern
This is a very technical text about input and output parameters for a digital door system
I can't see what "Verorderbar" and "verordern" mean here - any suggestions?

connect by OR
It means Boolean types since they can be logically connected by OR.
If at lest one of the conditions is true, then the result is true. If all conditions are false, then the result is false.
types that can be (logically) connected by OR
Discussion
I would close this as an errant question, and research the correct German term, submitting another question if necessary.
See, for example, https://www.xplore-dna.net/mod/page/view.php?id=5206&lang=en ("Durch das Verodern mit den Hardware-Tastern wirken die von der App gesteuerten Variablen genauso wie sie." and "Dies wird durch ein einfaches Verodern der beiden Variablen gelöst.") as well as https://german.stackexchange.com/questions/20102/gibt-es-den... and https://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/logic-gate-AND-OR-X...
