I styled this answer on the Righteous Among the Nations Certificate issued by the Holocaust Memorial in Yad Vashem honoring non-Jews who at the risk of their own lives help Jews during the Holocaust.

Persons recognized as a "Righteous Among the Nations" are awarded a specially minted medal bearing their name, a certificate of honor, and the privilege of their names being added to the Wall of Honor in the Garden of the Righteous at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem. The awards are presented to the rescuers or their next of kin in Israel or in their countries of residence through the good offices of Israel's diplomatic representatives. These ceremonies are attended by local government representatives and are given wide media coverage.

: Sorry, can't agree, this is a gross exaggeration of the idea in question. It's not an award by any stretch, merely a recognition of the person not supporting the current regime and its ideas. A bit like lustration certificate in Czechia or Poland.

We can disagree about the translation but we must be clear as to the meaning. The document is not a recognition of nonsupport but of direct OPPOSITION. Opposition is an active, principled, moral stance; non-support is mere by-standing.

Есть три принципиальных момента, о которых человек должен заявить: 1) война в Украине преступна; 2) она ведется нелегитимным путинским режимом; 3) я/мы признаем суверенитет и территориальную целостность Украины. При наличии такой декларации подписанной, на мой взгляд, несправедливо лишать человека – только потому, что у него российский паспорт и он родился в России, – возможности осуществлять свои права. Будь то участие в теннисном или футбольном турнире или получение вида на жительство, визы или открытие банковского счета. Такой шанс должен быть предоставлен.

попросить Запад выдавать документ «хорошего русского» тем россиянам, которые выступили/выступят против спецоперации РФ на Украине.
