The Management (COO, Group GCFO, Director of Shared Services and Finance Manager) looks out for different Insurance Companies in the open market either directly or through Insurance Brokers. The Management shares with multiple Insurance Companies the requirements of the Insurance Policies and invites quotes or bids from them. On receipt of quotes from the Insurance Companies, depending on the Commercials quoted by the Insurance Companies and the Insurance Company’s feasibility to cater to the customised needs of the Company, the Management selects the Insurance Company with whom the Vehicles are to be insured. An Insurance Offer Letter listing the terms and conditions of the Insurance Policy including the rate of insurance and credit terms is received from the selected Insurance Company. On receipt of Insurance Offer Letter, the COO reviews the same and sends acceptance (as signed by the COO) to the same on the letterhead of the Company.
