Discussion

Jane Lamb-Ruiz (X) Sep 17, 2004:
THis use of decliner is usually talking about the FORM of something..the way it is developed..
Jane Lamb-Ruiz (X) Sep 17, 2004:
this is use of DECLINER in a marketing context..management decline followed by some noun or nouns..without IT YOU GET NOTHING BECAUSE DECLINE HAS TO BE FOLLOWED BY SOMETHING..:)
writeaway Sep 17, 2004:
please provide context. there is no way to answer this with any accuracy unless you explain the context.

ah, may be... but who knows.....
neutral writeaway : décliné is past participle so it would have to be deteriorated, but context is needed because who knows what is really meant here (as you say).

yes, I noticed that, but it's all academic without context...
disagree df49f (X) : "décliner" is a marketing/management buzz-word meaning "applied or developped in various forms and/or various areas..."

you might be right, but to me, in an HR context, my interpretation is the likely one, the asker will make a choice
