Italiano term

I'm trying to find the appropriate English journalism term, "subheading" doesn't seem right. banner? tagline?

sub-headline or supplement?
I believe that the colleague who first answered yr question is right as this fits the context. My only doubt is that "Testata" in Italian normally indicates a magazine or separate insert/supplement. I have always read media plans with "Elenco delle testate". I would call a sub-head a "sottotitolo" in Italian.
