If the person concerned has been ordered by the court to pay off a debt via his/her wages/salary then I know it as a garnishee order.

Enforcement of a Debt
If you have obtained a judgment from the Local Court and the amount of the debt has not been paid you may have rights to enforce the payment of the debt through the Local Court Registry.
There are three types of court enforcement action which may assist you in forcing the debtor to pay the judgment debt:
1. Writs of Execution - this is where the Sheriff\'s Officer can be directed to attend the judgment debtor\'s address and seize property owned by the debtor and sell it at a public auction if the debt is unpaid.
2. GARNISHEE ORDERS - a garnishee order may be given to an EMPLOYER, bank manager or some other person who is holding money on behalf of the debtor and directing them to pay the money held into court for payment of the debt.
3. Examination Summonses - this is a summons which requires the debtor to attend court to be examined in relation to his financial circumstances. The debtor may be required to produce details of his or her employer or bank accounts.

GARNISHEES ORDER:
Council can also issue a
garnishee order, this being an order
from the Court telling your EMPLOYER TO DEDUCT MONEY FROM AN EMPLOYEE\'S WAGES and pay it to the creditor. Bank accounts can also be garnisheed.
A garnishee order can have a dramatic effect on your life
because these orders can last for up to four weeks and can create problems with your rent, mortgage and your ability to pay other debts. At the end of four weeks Council can apply for another garnishee order.
