Does anyone have an idea what this abbreviation stands for. I'm seeing this often in a serious of medical reports. It appears below:

It does not say NV
It says N- V-
N - The minus sign indicates N is negative --> No nausea
V - The minus sign indicates V is negative --> No vomiting

I would like to add, you can very easily infer from the context that N = - and V = -
Look at this:

Well this is strange, no other symptoms and nausea and vomiting ??
Sounds contradictory to me.
