English term or phrase: Being a big fish in a small pond
Hello all,
I need some advise concerning this expression.
Would a literal translation (أن يكون سمكةً كبيرةً في بركةٍ صغيرة) sound acceptable in Arabic?
Many thanks in advance,
Fady.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Many thanks Nadia! I actually translated it in my text, as I said in the question, literaly, and I kind of liked it, it actually sounded rather poetic to me, I just needed to make sure there isn't any expression proper to Arabic that would give the same meaning. Your answer is very helpful indeed! Kind regards, Fady.
