Carriage shift proximity switches: Shifts the carriage and moves the machine forward (provided the auto advance switch is in the “ON” position) when the carriage reaches the end of a paving pass. When the carriage passes either carriage shift proximity switch, the carriage reverses direction across the frame and the bogies automatically advance (provided the auto advance switch is in the “ON” position).
