Just to make sure that I'm getting this bit right, does this mean 'faillissement aanvragen', as distinct from being already 'failliet verklaard' (i.e. gone bankrupt)?

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

"Failliet verklaren" en "failiet gaan" zijn 2 verschillende dingen; het ene is formeel, het andere niet.

| Hi Sindy! Your help is much appreciated :-) In the given link, the text seems to refer to liquidation proceedings that are started against a party. In my case, the source text reads 'if the other party (...) enters into liquidation proceedings'. In Dutch agreements, the article referring to termination of the agreement often contains a formulation like 'indien de andere partij in staat van faillissement wordt verklaard of faillissement aanvraagt'. I think this is also what is meant here, but I would like to be absolutely sure! |
