Considérant que le système des postes académiques dans les universités anglaises ou US ne correspond que très moyennement au système français, en outre sans la notion de poste titulaire de l'Education nationale, je garderais la terminologie d'origine.
De plus, la définition de "associate professor" et les conditions d'attribution du poste peuvent varier légèrement d'une université à une autre.
Enfin, classics pourrait être traduit par "études classiques", comme autrefois on faisait ses humanités.
