Définition :
The melting of a metallic coating (usually electrodeposited tin or tin-lead) on a conductive pattern, followed by solidification.
Note(s) :
When the fusing process applies, this process can remove part of the metallic coating or leave it in the same quantity as electrodeposited. The two processes are distinguished respectively by the terms "thin fusing" and "thick fusing". Consequently, the printed board will be thin fused or thick fused.
