English term

cohabiting

English to Spanish Other Psychology Sociopaths
In the following sentence, the above verb appears in the gerund form, however the other items don't go in the same form:
So I'm wondering how to translate 'cohabiting' in this context:

And once you are well and truly hooked, committed, cohabitating, pregnant or married, or, once the sociopaths are bored, everything changes.

Thanks

Have a nice day.

About the -ing form A small note on grammar that can be helpful: the -ing form in your sentence is not a gerund but a present participle while the -ed forms are past participles. You need to take all of them with the "are" that appears first in the sentence, so basically, it reads "once you are hooked, once you are committed, once you are cohabiting, etc." Hope it helps!

cohabitando, viviendo con alguien

Aunque el término cohabitación se utiliza bastante en terminología legal, creo que para este ejemplo "viviendo con alguien/una pareja" es más apropiado.
