What I do everyday is this: [Timbres oficiales] between brackets at the very place where the official stamps appear in the original. Hope it helps!

I´ve many documents translated and some by embassies. None of them have a pasted stamp. They all have a mention to the stamp in the place of it. As for the translation I agree with Yaotl on the wording Sellos or Timbres Oficiales

Same here. I had a customer complain last week that the certificates I'd translated weren't line-by-line the same as the originals, and I said that was because German word order is different. Translation companies can be very fussy about making translations look like the originals, rather than just reproducing the information they contain.

Agree with Phil btw They must be translated. I was fretting more about format. That's why I don't like doing official docs and certs!

I'm not a product of a formal translation degree, but I imagine this must be one of the things that students cover there.

Hi Anne You've posted this question in the wrong place, so it may be removed by the moderators, but you should translate the stamps. Copying and pasting them is probably a bit much.
