English term or phrase: doubling interval
From a temperature perspective the temperature rise above 75°C for the mechanical strength to decrease to half is dependent on the moisture content of the paper. For example, for 1%moisture content, the doubling interval is for every 24°C, and for 8% moisture, it is 8°C.

Doubling interval means that interval to decrease to half is doubled?

interval to halve the mechanical strength
Explanation:
Sample:
Threshold temp = 75% and base mechanical strength = M

If moisture = 1%:
> at 99%, the strength = M/2
> at 113%, the strength = M/4
and so on.

If moisture = 8%:
> at 83%, the strength = M/2
> at 91%, the strength = M/4
and so on.

And also for 99% --> 99 centigrade, 113% --> 113 centigrade. It was too bad that I mistook "%" to be a superscipt of o. :|
