French term

année de mobilité

French to English Other Education / Pedagogy
I've totally forgotten how to express this correctly in English! Can anyone please help?:

Many thanks in advance.

sandwich year

Was my immediate thought. I did a similar degree myself - 2 years study + 1 year working to gain "experience" (ha! in my case anyway) then 1 more year studying is a common pattern. A spot of googling confirms its a possibility for some LLB courses.
Can also be known as a "year out" (not "off!) or a "placement year".

agree cchat : I think this is the best fit in the context. "Sandwich course" and "year out" would seem the best options
