This is about valves on an oil pipeline. I found one reference to 'zone valves', but I can't really tell if that would be the way to translate 'vannes de lignes' or not. This type of valve comes in different types, described as:

pipeline I imagine the context would make it fairly clear what kind of valve they are talking about, so just "valve" would probably be sufficient. Failing that, "pipeline valve" spells it out more.
