Parisian council of the Ordre des Médecins

The Ordre des Médecins is the professional body responsible for accrediting and regulating medical practitioners in France. Its UK counterpart is the General Medical Council (GMC). The Ordre des Médecins is organised by department, so the term quoted refers to the council of the Ordre des Médecins in the Paris area. The situation in Paris is presumably slightly complicated by the fact that it has four departments (75,92,93,94), and these are presumably unified for administrative purposes, though in fact the list downloadable at the second link suggests that St Denis (93) has its own council.

neutral Tony M : Yes, but I wouldn't use the adjective 'Parisian' here

Paris city departmental council medical college

IMO
Note from asker:
Any suggestion for Ordre des Médecins
Peer comment(s):

disagree Tony M : 1) It's not a medical college 2) the word order is wrong in EN to render the same idea as in FR. Your text would back translate as "Lécole des médecins du Conseil Général de Paris"

City of Paris départemental council of the Ordre des Médecins

Douglas has explained it perfectly, but I would prefer this wy of expressing it.

Lots of organizations have separate councils at département, region, adn national levels, hence why it is important to keep in the départemental (as ever, my own preference if to keep the FR word and use italics to make that clear, since EN 'department' could be a little ambiguous.

I wouldn't usually translate 'Ordre des Médecins' as it is in effect a proper name, but of course, depending on your exact context and the purpose of the document, you may or may not need to add an explanation.
