maintenance
From a risk matrix of an offshore platform, discussing a maintenance program:
"Lancer les activités visant la substitution des lignes corrodées et/ou résinées et cravattées [sic] et des appareils obsolètes."
I think résinées and cravattées go together and I am guessing that it means scaled and obstructed, but I am unable to find support for this.
All suggestions are welcome

: Wouldn't a resin-coated line be one that would be okay and not require maintenance? (Sorry. I hoped I haven't offended by changing the rating: I had selected "neutral, but it seems to have slipped back to "agree" by the time I clicked)

Resin is used inside oil pipes to repair them, so they must mean replacing pipes that have been repaired in this way.
