VAPEUR D'ETOUFFEMENT

La vapeur d'étouffement est utilisée en cas de feu dans la chambre de radiation ou dans la zone de convection du four H-3001.
La vapeur est envoyée dans le four par une vanne manuelle (VST3361) située derrière un mur pare-feu.

It might be neater to rephrase as (eg) "in the event of fire, steam is used in .... to smother it", or something along those lines.
