whirlpool bath
I am translating the operating instructions for a whirlpool bath
"Die Bedienung des Whirlpools erfolgt über den Komforttaster".
The word describes a sort of small soft-touch panel where you can control the air inlet, water temperature, massage function etc. and there is also a small LED.
I can't think of anything other than "control panel" which doesn't get the "Komfort" bit across.
TIA

control pad
This is pretty common in the whirlpool business. (BTW, all images on Google for 'komforttaster' come from Whirlpooltechnik.de.) You're quite right -- comfort isn't in the phrase, but it is indeed what the pool is all about, so perhaps it would be a redundant term for the buttons. What else would the buttons control if not 'comfort' levels, by adjusting speed of current, temperature, etc? And you couldn't say 'key'pad because the controls don't open/close, lock/unlock anything; or rather, that's not their primary function.

Comment: "Went for control pad once Alan and Francis had helped me realise that it was the whole pad and not individual buttons which were being referred to. Thanks everyone"

easy-to-use controls
or easy-controls. Is it one button? Doesn't sound like it, but then one-touch control? Ho-hum... A bit lapidar, I know.

controls: comfort (yuk); comfortable; convenient; luxury; luxurious; soft touch (who, me?)
Perhaps somebody will pop up and propose something decent.
