the Coppedé brothers, who worked in what is known in Italy as the "Stile Floreale" and were active from the turn of the 20th. century all the way into the Fascist period, were noted for their completely over-the-top decorativism. Their work is almost completely unknown outside Italy and is now deeply unfashionable, and is of interest only to a few architectural nerds (such as myself) who have particular interest in...that sort of thing. So if your text is aimed at the general reader, even of above-average cultural awareness, I would avoid talking about any sort of "coppedeain" style as they will probably have no idea what you're talking about :)
