Norwegian term

Tilleggsopplysninger

Norwegian to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
Tilleggsopplysninger eksisterer fra før av i samme tidsperiode!

In a payroll software program.

Could we say "Previous benefit information exists for the same period"?

Can "Tillegg" apply to both supplemental wages as well as other perks such as a bonus, car allowance, vacation allowance?

Discussion

David Rumsey (asker) Oct 13, 2007:
More context Hi there - I found more context. I think that tillegg is referring to supplemental pay or benefits.

- Utfyllende beskrivelse av tilleggsopplysningen.
- Velg tilleggsopplysningsnavn fra nedtrekkslisten.

I think you'll cover all bases, if you choose "additional descriptive information".
Google has 48,500 hits for "additional descriptive information". These Google hits are not specifically related to benefits, more to IT/data processing.
