This illustrates a pet peeve of mine. In my opinion, the adjectival forms of proper names in Russian should be translated as the proper name itself, rather than rendered as the transliterated adjectival form found in the original. That presents something of a challenge, however, when the proper name is obscure . . .

I'm not familiar with the area of geolgy .However, my native langugae is russian and I find this part of sentence "делювиальных отложений, сложенный преимущественно песком мелкозернистым, глинистым" a bit strange.
Won't it be more correct to trsanslate "делювиальных отложений, сложенный преимущественно из глинистого мелкозернистого песка"?

Won't it be more correct to translate "делювиальных отложений, сложенных преимущественно из глинистого мелкозернистого песка"?
