Could it be a mistake?

If this were the case, the steps would be these:

# P: Proteger, el lugar del accidente, es decir, estacionar fuera de la calzada, procurando dejar libre una vía de acceso para los servicios de socorro, señalizar convenientemente el lugar y hacer una composición de lugar sobre lo sucedido.

# A: Avisar, a los servicios de socorro por el medio más rápido, indicando siempre el lugar exacto del accidente, lo que ha ocurrido y el número de heridos, así como su estado aparente.

# S: Socorrer a las víctimas. Recuerda que nunca se debe mover a una persona del interior del vehículo, a no ser que su vida corra peligro inmediato (incendio, parada cardiorrespiratoria...). Debemos comprobar siempre el estado de las funciones vitales del herido y actuar en caso de paro respiratorio o parada cardíaca realizando la respiración artificial. En caso de hemorragia debemos sentar o tumbar al herido y realizar una leve presión sobre la herida con un vendaje o compresa para detenerla.

I only know something slightly similar in English, which is DR!AB, although it has more steps. But you could use it as a model and suit it to your needs:

* Danger: clear away anything that could be harmful to you or the casulty.
* Response: Give a clear command ("Annie can you hear me? Open your eyes Annie") and shout this in both ears to see if the casualty can hear you, also tap them firmly on the shoulders while you do this.
* !: This means Shout for help, get someone over to you who you can send to do stuff.
* Airway: If the casualty is unconscious, in one smooth movement tip the head back by holding the chin and forehead.
* Breathing: Put your ear by the mouth and look at the chest. Listen, feel, hear and look for signs of the casualty breathing.

Before you act, adopt the SAFE approach.
Shout for assistance,
Approach with care,
Free the victim from dangers, and
Evaluate the victim.

Protect yourself and the injured person from danger or further injury. Look out for hazards such as oncoming traffic and fire. If you cannot reach the person without putting yourself in great danger, leave him or her and call the emergency services immediately. Remember that you will not be able to help anyone if you become a victim yourself.
