Spanish term

corrientes eléctricas de falla

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Electronics / Elect Eng
Los equipos se conectan a tierra de modo que ofrezcan un camino de baja impedancia para las corrientes eléctricas de falla, y que faciliten el funcionamiento de los dispositivos de protección contra sobrecorriente en caso de falla a tierra.

Few internet hits for "electric fault current". Even less for "fault electric current".

fault currents

I don't think that "stray currents" (??eddy currents??) need a particularly low earth impedance. Fault currents do! There are plenty of google hits for "fault current" (about 175,000); saying that they are electrical is redundant.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Since there seem to be more than one type of "fault currents", I'd better leave as is, nice and general."

stray current

You could leave the "electric" bit out. It's understood.
