Spanish term
apoyando en valgo
Spanish to English
Medical
Medical: Health Care
Cerebral palsy
Es capaz de sostener su peso en bipedestación, apoyando en valgo sus pies.
I get the idea, I just havent got a clue how to express this in English. It's for a formal report, I'm not sure if 'with feet splayed' is formal enough or if there's a better medical term. Thanks :)

in valgus
The medical term for "valgo" is "valgus". As this is a formal report, that's the translation I would adopt.

Indeed, I've never seen "supporting in valgus". Without any more context, a possible translation for the phrase is "with (his) feet in valgus", as seen, for example, here: http://www.cpcjournal.org/doi/full/10.1597/11-071?code=acpa-...

Note from asker:
Yes, but 'supporting in valgus' doesnt appear to exist, which is why I requested help with the actual phrase 'apoyando en valgo'. |
Brilliant! Cheers :) I didn't see this article at all during my Google search. It was the use of apoyar that was throwng me and causing a mental block. I know valgus definitely can't be used as an adjective and I know supporting in/on valgus doesn't exist either. Thanks a million :) |
