At a complete loss as to what a "Cafetería Claustro" is exactly - I suppose it refers to the layout of the café/coffee shop.

Any help appreciated!

By the way, since this is not originally a religious building I'm not sure that claustro is 100% accurate! In this case though I presume that you're doing the webpage so translator's notes aren't appropriate...
Noni Gilbert Riley Jun 7, 2007:
I'm presuming this is not far from where I sit at this moment Will?! I can fill you on whatever isn't clear of the layout there. (I'm literally 5 mins walk away!)
MikeGarcia Jun 7, 2007:
..that's why I suggested NOT to translate it; adding a translator's note was meant for the benefit of the client, since I assume that this, obviously, is not a sworn translation!!! And the subject, to me, is finalized. Answer what you like best, that's it
MikeGarcia Jun 7, 2007:
Since I am receiving subliminal but public messages from a colleague who doesn't like translator's notes (that's her privilege, cherchez la femme...), let me explain: A "cafetería Claustro" in Spain means a type of café under a "cloister" type structure..
David Brown Jun 7, 2007:
There are several "Cloister Cafes" in the world

Cloister cafe

Totally agree with D. Brown's suggestion. And I think it's always a good thing to avoid translator's notes!!

don't translate it-"claustro" has only one meaning, and it is "cloister". Add a translator's note.-
